Shane Cruz is a native New Yorker from the Lower East Side. As a kid, he alternated between drawing in his room and exploring the many layers of the streets surrounding him.

Through his mixed media paintings and up-cycled clothing, Shane enjoys celebrating the combination of an abstract world of realistic figures and cartoon behaviors. In its uniqueness, his art reflects the spirit and complexity of the city that raised him.
